Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NexGen UX & Engineering LLC("NexGen," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Shibuya High Rollermobile application and related services (the "Service"). Shibuya High Roller is a free-to-play social casino intended only for adults 18 and olderlocated in eligible U.S. states. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, used to create and secure your account.
  • Age verification: we store only a confirmation that you are 18 or older (a yes/no value) and the date/method of verification. We do not store your date of birth.
  • Location (coarse): your U.S. state, used solely to confirm eligibility and apply geographic restrictions. We do not collect precise GPS location.
  • Gameplay data: game results, scores, recorded moves used to validate fair play, leaderboard placement, and progress.
  • Purchase data: records of optional in-app purchases of virtual currency ("Gems") and subscriptions, processed through Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
  • Usage & analytics data: interactions with the app (screens viewed, features used, gameplay events) and basic device/diagnostic data, used to improve the Service.
  • Responsible-play settings: spend limits, cooling-off, and self-exclusion choices you set.

2. How we collect information

Directly from you (e.g., when you sign up or set limits); automatically as you use the app (analytics and diagnostics); and from our service providers (Apple for purchase confirmation, RevenueCat for purchase/subscription status).

3. Why we use information

  • To authenticate you and operate your account.
  • To confirm eligibility (18+ and permitted state) and enforce geographic restrictions.
  • To provide gameplay, matchmaking, leaderboards, and to validate scores and detect cheating, collusion, or fraud.
  • To process optional purchases and manage virtual-currency balances.
  • To enforce responsible-play controls (spend caps, cooling-off, self-exclusion).
  • To analyze and improve the Service, and to provide customer support.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third parties / service providers

We share information with the following service providers, who are contractually required to protect it and use it only to provide their services to us:

  • Supabase: authentication and database hosting.
  • RevenueCat: purchase and subscription management.
  • Apple: in-app purchase processing and billing.
  • PostHog: product analytics.
  • Google Cloud: hosting and infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account (see Section 7), we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records).

6. Your rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at the email below.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" (we do neither), to limit use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

7. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your account record and associated personal data. Deletion may take up to 30 days to complete across our systems; we will confirm when it is done. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through your Apple subscription settings first, as Apple, not NexGen, handles billing. You may also request deletion by emailing us at the address below.

8. Children

Shibuya High Roller is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it. This far exceeds the under-13 threshold of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
